  • U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - Public Domain (US government work) (OZ 1.0 designated census tracts as a national GeoJSON layer with 2010 GEOIDs. Authoritative for the original Opportunity Zones program designations. Designations expire 2028-12-31.)
  • Internal Revenue Service / U.S. Department of the Treasury - Public Domain (US government work) (Appendix to Revenue Procedure 2026-14 (effective 2026-04-06). The official list of 2020 census tracts identified by Treasury and IRS as low-income communities eligible for nomination as 2027 QOZs (8,334 of which are entirely rural). Based on 2020-2024 ACS 5-Year and 2020 DECIA data sets. Connecticut tracts use the new (post-2022) Planning Region GEOIDs.)
  • U.S. Census Bureau - Public Domain (US government work) (National 2020-to-2010 census tract relationship file. Many-to-many crosswalk with land-area apportionment for each overlap part. Used to translate OZ status across the 2010/2020 boundary change. Excludes Connecticut Planning Region GEOIDs (see ct_2022_tract_crosswalk source).)
  • Connecticut Data Collaborative (mirror of Census Bureau ACS22 reference data) - Open (community-maintained mirror of US Federal public data) (Connecticut switched from 8 counties to 9 Planning Regions as county-equivalents starting with the 2022 ACS. Tract boundaries are unchanged but FIPS codes were relabeled. The IRS OZ 2.0 appendix uses the new (Planning Region) GEOIDs while the national Census 2020<->2010 file uses the original (county) GEOIDs. This crosswalk reconciles the two for 879 CT tracts.)
